Task 11 Evaluation- Question 4 Who would be the audience for your media product? My target audience would be teens and young adults because that is a large generation, which is generally associated with rap and hip-hop, but showing that young people can also enjoy jazz music will expand the fan base. I want my magazine to be aimed at both genders; this will encourage more females to become rap,grime,r'n'b musicians/singers, as it seems to be a mainly male dominated genre of music. It will be aimed at any social class as jazz is well rounded genre/genre for everyone. The hobbies and lifestyles of the readers would probably be focused around creative aspects for example music lovers (concerts/festivals/parties,shakeboarding,paintballing etc), people who enjoy drawing/painting and other artistic forms like dancing or drama.
